yes but they are also a very low-key parking spot to use on game days, so get there with time to beat the crowds
The Muesum Cafe is open Tuesday through Friday from 11am until 2pm.
They accept donations.
No thanks.
This was a total waste of time and money. There were only three galleries open, and one of them was nothing but plastic bottle caps strung on pieces of wire and tacked onto the wall. The other two were apparently from local artists who were severely unaccomplished. One of the galleries had pieces that the artist had completed at various ages in his life, but there was hardly any change from what he drew in elementary school and the drawings that he produced as an adult. It was interesting to see that one of his pieces referenced Mothra, but the museum's description of this famous monster was inaccurate. I almost asked for my $5 donation back on our way out.
A great place to go to relax and enjoy creativity! Art, music and wonderful talks. Lunch there is very pleasant. A good place to enjoy alone or with friends.
I went to the Third Thursday event where the poet Arthur Sze read some of his poems. It was a great event and the building is as beautiful as the art inside it.
I like walking here, they would rather I walk somewhere else.
A wonderful museum. Quite nice collection. Changes often.
It was closed but we got to walk around the outside of it.
There's art inside and outside. Great path to see art outside.
Live lunch time concerts + good food. Catch it once a month. Different types of music. A great place to meet with friends.
Very picturesque. Beautiful facility. It's well kept and lovely. Art rotations and displays keep the museum interesting for locals. Looks like a great place for special occasions, too!
Nice women's exhibit.
Lots of great art exhibits. Close to campus. Air conditioned. Handicap accessible. Relaxing and enriching. Fun by yourself or take the whole family. Also outside you'll find a large artist pond and several walking paths. I give it two thumbs up and 5 stars! 😊
Very disappointed in the museum would be a kind appraisal. Empty rooms, empty spaces, empty halls. We went on a Saturday and initially thought it was closed. So few people. We had lunch at the little sandwich shop and were the only customers.A suggestion: since the weekend is “dead.” Why not invite local artists to display and sell their works in the empty halls. It would bring more people into the museum, increase the income of the gift shop and the sandwich shop, and make use of the empty spaces during the weekend, and give local artists and art students a place to display.
The atmosphere here is so pleasant and the employees are so polite and friendly
Went there for work.
Really nice area both inside and out! You can walk around the pond and see more sculptures. Filled with Pokemon go stops so more crowded than usual lately.
The outdoor exhibits and sculptures are always so fun to see and experience!
Try the art o mat. It's fun.
Nice
Beautiful museum and a lovely place gor an event.
Beautiful building and grounds, but much smaller than expected.
It's lovely to go to not just to go to an event or look at the art inside, but it's great looking at the sculptures outside and walking/riding bikes around the pond.
Great peaceful experience exhibits are hit-and-miss in between the larger shows so the smaller shows sometimes are kind of boring but the in-house collection is amazing
Adequate parking. Great for seeing different exhibits and walking with your dog or children. Entry is by donation of your choice. Very clean and well taken care of. Pokemon Go hot spot.
Disappointed, tryed to visit in the past. I was told by an staff member, it was for Auburn Student's only.
They have good artwork. Nice place for a casual date
The staff was very polite, but the exhibit was less than appealing. Not what I was expecting for it being in a college town.
If you're in Auburn during the week, this is definitely worth a visit. The cafe is also very good.
This is a first-class facility. Regardless of whether you like what is currently on display, the museum provides a wonderful atmosphere in which to view the exhibits.
Everything was so nice and elegant 🙏🙌
Part of My Soul. Visited in 2003 with Shelley Martin A Rural Studio Architecture my Gf who was killed in a wreck at rural studio
I go to walk along the lake and enjoy the interesting pieces on the outside but I usually stay and read for awhile in one of the several cool and quiet spots on the grounds.
Good little museum, free to walk around. I really liked the traveling exhibits. I look forward to going back!
Great spot if you're a PokemonGO lover. Great spot if you're an art lover. Great spot if you just need a spot to walk around. Staff can be kind of aggressive, but they probably deal with college kids all day so it can be expected.
Had a small but nice collection of local art today. I will return to this museum.
Beautifully maintained museum, both inside and out
Awesome place with ever changing local art
They were closed due to covid but even outside they had some amazing pieces.
Beautiful exhibits and lots of cultural experiences to share, and all completely free. The bunny guys are my favorite, but the entire thing is a great, educational experience.
Beautiful, serene and relaxing place. No admission. They do ask for a $5 donation (which I gladly gave). They could use their space better although the openness is beautiful. The property is nice to just walk around too.
They are really hateful to visitors, and have chased most people in Auburn away. It is a public and free place to be but they really act hateful unless you are an "event" and they won't even let so many of us do an event unless it is like a wedding. Sad.
This is my favorite museum! It is classy and every time I go there I learn something new! #WAREAGLE #BAW
I went for a wedding reception and I must admit it was a beautiful location. The venue was extraordinary not just as an art museum but a great spot for similar events.
The building is lovely...a wedding was held here. But it is my own opinion that art music media or drama that is dark is the opposite of joy. I choose to reject the current exhibit of negative b&w message. I feel it is Degas-bage my own word based on much of degas death art) and life is too beautiful to focus on death or disease.
Wonderful place for fine art and Pokemon!
Though small, this museum has a great variety of exhibits. Their outdoor exhibits are creative, playful, and fun, and the new Audubon exhibit was well done and large scale.
Love seeing the exhibits here. It's kid friendly and clean. The staff have always been helpful and polite.
A wonderful public resource for students and families! A true treasure in Auburn!
Great museum amazing architecture and gardens. And it's free. Please donate.
